Mr. Bacon has made many unique models each one from timber from famous vessels, for example, mode of screen star Margaret O'Brien, from wood from H.M.S. Victory.. His models are unique and original and will never be repeated - and are exclusive throughout the world.. He uses the wood from one vessel - for one model only and never makes a second model from timber of the same ship.. Mr. Bacon started climbing the ladder to fame, when Mr. H.A. Marquand the Minister of Pensions went to Jersey about two years ago, and saw some of his models - he liked them and made a few inquires. The next thing was he received a letter from the Minister asking him to come to London - he then received a Command to go to Clarence House - Princess Elizabeth liked the models and commissioned one of the baby Prince..
