Poland Sack Russian Boss - Elect Wladyslaw Gomulka as New Leader: Ignoring reported heavy pressure from Moscow - Poland last night sacked Polish Born Marshal Rokossowski from the powerful Politbureau and elected Wladyslaw Gomulka as First Secretary of the Communist Party - this virtually he becomes the chief of the country. Gomulka (51) - formerly the party leader spent four years in prison as a "Titoie~" The election is a victory for the liberalising wing of the part which wants a faster democratisation of Poland There has so far - been 'no comment' from Moscow in connection with the Poland events.
