Food scarcity in Delhi, Queue for grain; Continuous shortage of food in Delhi now poses a threat to law and order in Indian capital. Long queues of women and children, who are living on one meal a day form at the shops of the grain dealers who have raised their prices 25% in the last twenty days. The people are demanding the the government open 40 "Fair Price" shops. Photo Shows Women and children sit patiently waiting for the grain shops to open in Delhi with their large grain bins. The food shortage is so acute that the dealers will allow them only one Rupee's worth a day.
