Black Smoke Shows No Pope Yet. This morning black smoke was seen to be coming from the chimney of the stove in the Sistine Chapel of the Vatican where the Cardinals are meeting in sealed Conclave to elect the new Pope. The black smoke is an indication to the outside World that they have had an inconclusive vote, and there is still no Pope. Photo Shows:- Black smoke coming from the chimney today.
