Druids celebrate "coming of spring" on tower Hill. the Bword Ceremony: For the first time since the year 1794 - 162 years ago - a party of London Druids today held their ancient Spring Equinox ceremony - to celebrate the coming of Spring - on Tower Hill - a short distance from the White Tower, beneath which is said to be a burial ground of ancient Britons. It is said that buried there is Dynwal Molemud - the king of Britain in prehistoric times - who first established laws and built the roads - later repaired by the Romans. (N.B. The Druids were priests of the old Celtic races of Gaul, Britain and Iraland. Their religion was made up of nature worship, symbolism and a belief of special deities_. The Drued order (Universal Bond) is in traditional continuity of the Circle inspired by John Aubrey in 1643 and revived by John Toland with the founding of the Mother Grove in London in 1717.
