"Frame-works"...
... is the main theme of works by Guenter Neusel, to be seen until the end of July at the Frankfurt Gallery "Appal and Fertsch". At first glance one could really think to have run into a joiner's workshop by mistake. For the artist is exhibiting artfully worked at wood. Apart from that he is showing his "identic pictures", which really look like the blueprints of his "frame-works".
The graphics, paintings, and even the plastics of Guenter Neusel are based on the impression of frame-works; his style of representation is reduce to a few geometrical elements, clearly showing as straight lines, angles, triangles, and squares.
