1974 Press Photo Hindus Procession to Tragfalgar Square for Annual Rathayatra

Hindus Procession: Hindus last night protested to Mr. Wilson against a police ben on pulling a holy ceremonial car by ropes through the streets to Tragfalgar Square for the annual Rathayatra Festival. Scotland Yard said the 30ft high, two-ton juggernaut did not meet road-safety regulations. So it was transported by long-loader from the Watford headquarters of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.
