Naomi Eumera of Japan was valour in Sport Award: The annual Valour in Sport Award (known as the V.C. of Sport) was presented to Naomi Uomura of Japan, aged 37, who became the first man to reach the North Pole alone across the frozen Artic Sea, During his career Aomura has conquered Mont Blano, Matterhorn, Co Aconcagua, Mt. McKinley, Everest, and many other committee . Each featwas accomplished alone. The ceremony took place in the Guildhall in the City of London today.
