Description
Choirboys rehearse for Coronation: Thirty-two boys are rehearsing the music for the coronation, at Addington Palace, Groydon. Twenty of the boys have been chosen by the Royal School of Music from amongst its 3000 member choirs all over the country, and the other twelve are choristers from six cathedrals. Thia is the first coronation, it is believed, at which boys from parish church and school choirs have been chosen to sing. Photo shows The scene as the boys rehearse at Addington Palace today.

Photo measures 10.25 x 8 inches.

Photo is dated 05-05-1953.
