12th Congress of Nobel-Prize bearers in Lindau: On June 25th, 1962, the 12th Congress of Nobel-Prize bearers began in Lindau at Lake Constance (Southern Germany). This time, the theme of the congress is "Physics", and about 22 Nobel-Prize bearers take part in this meeting. Photo shows (left to right) Prof. Otto Hahn (HAHN) of Goettingen, Germany; Prof. James Franck (FRANCK) who had been at Goettingen some time ago and who is now at Durham, North Carolina/USA; Prof. Max Born (Born), Bad Pyrmont, Germany; on right in second row Prof. Adolf Butenandt (BUTENANDT) of Munich, Germany.
