Hippies Stay The Night - and Leave £2,000 damage.: All that was was left yesterday of a ?150 Wilton carpet in a room at 60, Russell Square, Holborn, a newly-decorated five-storey office block, where 100 hippies spent the night after police had removed them from their former West End "residence" 144, Picadilly. Police parsuaded the squatters to leave the Holborn property quietly after an unorthedox interview through the front door. They had caused damage estimated at £2,000
