Deadly Snake missing from Pet Shop: Oeek Street, Salford, yesterday resembled a state of siege as police intensfield their search for the deadly African cobra which disappeared from a cornet pet shop the previous day. Watched by anxious adults and Hundreds of Curious children poorin from behind police barriers, police, firemen and an RSPCA officer, plus a snake expert, Mr. Pat Fletcher, secured the shop premiers and the house next-door - ripping apparatus to inject snake gas into every crovice.
