1976 Press Photo "Children's" Ski Village" Opened In The French Alps

Teaching 'Em young: Unique in winter sports resorts is the newly opened "Children's Ski Village" at Avoriaz, in the French Alps. Designed to free parents of child worries,it enables younsters between the ages of 3 to 14 to learn to ski on simple slopes on which the instructors use large cut-outs of Disney Characters, which are used to mark the course. Avoriaz runs a complete winter sports programme. Photo shows This youngster demonstrates her skill as she tackles the special course marked out with the aid of the Disney characters.
