Teaching 'Em young: Unique in winter sports resorts is the newly opened "Children's Ski Village" at Avoriaz, in the French Alps. Designed to free parents of child worries,it enables younsters between the ages of 3 to 14 to learn to ski on simple slopes on which the instructors use large cut-outs of Disney Characters, which are used to mark the course.
