US'Sergeant paints portrait "The Eternal Feminine" and gains the first prize of the soldiers: Sergeant Paul D. McClintock gained in the competition for the best picture made by american soldiers the first prize. He painted a woman portrait in the manner as Picasso is doing it and called his picture "Forever Eve". "It represents a head of a woman which I never have seen and which does not consist," says smiling the Sergeant, "And I have tried to show in this portrait the "Eternal feminine. It is the indeterminate "somewhat", the magic attraction for the men.
