1981 Press Photo Sheep rescued from deep snow in alps of Glarus

Sheeps in the snow: Although the sheep-wandering in the swiss alps took place later than scheduled because of the snowfalls of the last weeks, the sheeps still had walk through deep snow. Photo shows a flock of 7000 sheeps, wandering from the village Birgels to the alps of Glarus, a fatiguing trip for the sheeps as well as for the four sheperds.
