Lord Mayor pens Quiet City Campaign: The Lord Mayor of London, Sir Charles Trinder, today launched the Quiet City Campaign in the forecourt of the Royal Exchange , when a "noise thermometer" was switched son and will them register the noise level of City traffic at Bank Junction during the week. Photo shows The Lord Mayor seen looking at a sign reading "Noise Annoys" outside the Royal Exchange this morning.
