Findings fronm Primitive times-At the institute for Paleontology and Historical Geology in Munich: As to the director of the institute for Palaeontology and Historical Geology in Munich, Professor Dr Dietrich Herm (s.o.p) this huge animal skull is one of the most valuable findings. It is the head-skeleton of a three-horn saurian from North America, aged 90 million years. In this museum if international reputation there are objects which belong, as Director Herm says, to the main items of palaeontology. Besides the three-horn saurian there are a cave bear from the Jura Mountains of Fnnconia, a primitive elephant (which roamed through the region north Munich about 15 million years ago), skeletons from many parts of the world, speciment of rocks, petrifications and much more-highly interesting things, to which, regrettably enough, the public does not pay a lot of attention. Only a few thousand visitors come to the Institute for Palaeontology and Historical Geology every year.
