Art treasures on a Devon Farm; On a farm near Crediton in the heart of Devon, farmer Ted Baxter, who has studied and collected paintings for over 30 years, is the proud possesor of two paintings that he says he knows to be "lost" works by the Dutch Master Rembranst, and together he puts their value at about ~300,000. Although he is not at liberty to disclosed full details of their interesting history, he was given the paintings by a shipping magnate that he helped during the war, and their last public appearance was when they were put up for sale but later withdrawn over 100 years ago, since which time they were passed down through one family until they came to Mr. Baxter, The paintings show Two heads of Saints at the last supper, which Mr. Baxter values about ~150,000, and a Dutch Winter scene at about ~50,000. Photo Shows two Saints at the last supper, Mr .Baster "lost" painting by Rembrandt, at his Devonshire farm.
