Sarah wins the 1976 Miss Pears Title - And Becomes The youngest -Ever Child to win the competition. To day was a very special day fro Sarah Emily Coombs, of Hayling Island, Hants, when she was crowned "Miss Pears 1976" at a Ceremony at Painters "Hall, in the city of London. Sarah is one year and 11, months old and is the youngest -ever child to win the competition. There were 20,000 entries for the title. Photo shows The occasion proved a little true much for little Sarah and she shed a few tears surrounded by the other finalist after being crowned "Miss Pears 1976" today. Sarah also receives a cheque for $ 1,000.
