British Children Portray American Ambassador's Ancestors: Eighteen children between the ages of seven and eleven in the tiny Village of Whitney-on-Wye, Herefordshire, England, have recently appeared in a chronicle play about the ancestors of Mr. John Hay Whitney, U.S. Ambassador to Britain. Written by Miss Molie Hodgson, Drama Adviser to the Herefordshire County Council, the one-hour play, starting from the Norman invasion, covers nearly 900 years of Whitney family history. The Ambassador hopes to see a special performance in the fall. Photo shows Left:- Seven-year-oils Roy Edwards, who plays a Whitney who was a M,ember of Parliament. Right:- Philip Edwards (left) and Nevbille Harley (both nine years old), who also play the parts of Whitney. Neville is delivering the lines: "Le him take who has the power, and let him keep who can".
