More Than Forty People Feared Dead In Avalaches In The Alps: A woman and four children were dug out alive yesterday after being buried for more than 24 hours under an avalanche which fell on the Swiss Alpine village of Acla. More than 40 people were feared dead in avalanches which have swept through villages and out road and rail links in the Alpine massif in three days of freak Spring weather. Photo shows This youth named Dario Frusetta was rescued with his brother after being buried under an avalanche for more than 15 hours. The rest of his family were killed.
