"Sea Battles" in Class room.. Unique Tactical Teacher at Woolwich: The action speed Tactical Teacher by which "sea battles" can be conducted from cubicles in the classroom- was opened at the Royal Naval Tactical School, Woolwich today.. the Teacher costs between ~250,000 and ~300,000. Keystone press: General view as Admiral Sir William Davis- Vice chief of the Naval Staff - makes his opening speech today. The Screen on which the 'battles' are illustrated is in rear and represents a 100 mile area. The main control and recording panels seen in fore ground. The Students trainees are below in their cubbicles- just as they would be when at sea - and they control the operation of all the aircraft - ships submarine etc. without seeing anything.
