Londoners, Please - the Colours: When the Kind is in London. two troopers of the King's Life Guard of Household Cavalry ride from Knightsbridge Barracks to the Horse Guards Parade carrying the Standard, every morning. However, owing to lack of ceremony during the war, many people forget to pay their respects to the Colours, now when they are carried through the West End. Photo shows a traffic policemen salutes the Royal Standard as the Life Guards go by this morning.
