Two-way radio for Policemen on the beat.: Photo shows a London policemen demonstrating the new walkie-talkie radio of the type issued to policemen on the beat in six London divisions. The sets which fit under a policemen's tunic, weigh only 21b, and consist of two units receiver and transmitter, with a flexible lead attached to the microphone which also serves as a loudspeaker. The system is seen to be extended to the whole of the Greater London area.
