Finn is parted from his wife after immigration officials refuse him permission to land: A wife stood on a London quay yesterday talking to the husband immigration officials have forbidden to land. They will not tell her why. She is 26 years old Mrs. Evelyn Vaibanew, from Balford, Lances. He husband is a Finnish seaman aboard the Russian ship Baltica, which was called the Molotov till last week. The couple were married in Salford two years ago, and since then she has been trying to get permission for him to live in Britain. She has written to the Queen, yesterday she went to the Home Office and the Finnish Embassy. An official of the Finnish Embassy said they would consult their Foreign Ministry. Photo shows Mrs. Evelyn Vaisanen stands on the quay talking to her husband seen on board the Baltica when the ship arrived in London yesterday.
