Description
Princess Margaret in a Gaily Coloured Dress Visits Commonwealth Hostel: Princess Margaret wore this gally coloured dress with her hair drawn back and pinned with a circlet of flowers reminiscent of the Japanese fashion, when she paid a visit to two students hostels of the Zebra Trust, meeting and talking with married students and their families from many of the commonwealth countries. The first hostel, Jerome House, in West Kensington, is the largest of the trust's hostels, and houses 230 students, married and single, including 70 children - from about 30 Commonwealth countries. The Princess probably adopted something of the East in her style of dress and Hair- de in preparation foe her visit with Lord Snow-don to Japan in September. Picture Shows: Princess Margaret examining a musical instrument shown to her by Mr. Olum Oludhe, from Kenya, during her visit to Jerome House, West Kensington, Yesterday.
