British wound evacuated from Egypt.: Top picture stretcher bearers with a special truck stand-by as a British naval helicopter comes in to land on the flight deck of a British aircraft carrier during the evacuation by helicopters of British troops wounded during the fighting in Egypt after the first British parachute drop. Bottom picture A British soldier wounded during the fighting in Egypt is given a blood transfusion was comenced so quickly that the flight deck lift had only just started its descent when this photo was made.
