Commander for one day. Colonnel Wolf of the commander of an US airforce unit in Rothwesten near Kassel had a good idea to have well disciplined and perfect soldiers. He formed a commission of officers and sergants who choose "the soldier of the month". The soldier distinguished by this title gets the command for one day by Colonnel Wolf for the units and gets nearly all authorities of an commander. For instance the soldier may punish the soldiers who don't obey on the day of his inspection. The soldiers like this kind of excercise. Colonnel Wolf has only "prigs" by this way and one day more of rest. Our Picture Shows: Forrest Baker (21 years old) even serves with a cigar taking over the command. Here he gives an order to the adjutant Capt. Raitz.
