A Crowd Of 100,000 Gather In Trafalgar Square At The End Of The Alliermaston March: A crowd of 100,000 stood silently in Trafalgar Square yesterday at the end of the Aldermaston ban-the-bomb march. The most amazing public demonstration Britain has ever seen was over as the immense crowd cheered speaker after speaker as they condemned nuclear disarmament, A column of 22,500 marchers started out early yesterday from Turnham Green on the last leg of the four-day Easter march from Aldermaston Atomic Weapons Research Establishment, Berkshire, which began on Good Friday. Photo Shows: This was the scene in Trafalgar Square yesterday at the fantastic end of the great fifty-five mile "Ban-The-Bomb" march.
