Children lobby MP's - On the 5th April 1975, at the Laporte's chemical factory in Uphall Road, Ilford, Essex, there occurred an explosion at the works in which one worker was killed and three more injured, and today children from nearby Uphall Road School, with their parents, went to the House of Commons to lobby MP's calling for a full and wide-ranging public inquiry.
