1,800 Africans Held In Clean-Up: More than 1,800 Africans have been arrested in South Africa, in addition to the hundreds arrested since unrest began in June. In Durban 285 African pupils were arrested for starting a protest march. In Cape Town, Whites are apprehensive regarding stay at home strikes, and concerned over the growth of vigilantes attitudes among the whites.
