Restoring Old Barge Made For A Queen: Three man, David Chenoweth, Albert Smith, and Albert Porter, a gilding expert, have been engaged for the last few months restoring the Queen's Shallop - a Royal barge built by William 111 for his Queen Mary in 1689. The work is now completed and next year the barge will have it's new home at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich. Photo shows Mr. Greenslade, the Assistant work manager at William Cory and Son - looking at the stern of the boat at the plaque on which read: "William 111 for Queen Mary, 1689".

Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches.

Photo is dated 8-18-1954.
