Tug Crews Rescue Woman from New York river. Photo shows assisted by two longshoremen, the crew of the tug CHARLEE CHARLES JACKSON, rescued Mrs Frances Kindauer , 72, of 364 West 52nd St., from the North River, at Pier 90, New York. Mrs Lindauer slipped off the edge of the pier while seeing friends off on the Queen Mary.
