The mercy missions continue.....Food dropped by Helicopter: Navy helicopters and R.A..F. aircraft have been carrying out their Mercy Missions over the desolate wastes of snow covered Sutherland, Scotland for some days. They have been carrying food and supplies to the snowbound villages. The aircraft have been their only form of contact with the outer world. Photo Shows As seen from the air - a woman carries home a food parcel - dropped from the helicopter - to her lonely cottage in Ben Armine.
