1,800 Africans held in clean-up: More than 1,800 Africans have been arrested in South Africa, in addition to the hundreds arrested since unrest began in June. In Durban 285 African public were arrested for starting a protest march. In Cape Town, Whites are apprehensive regarding stay at home strikes, and concerned over the growth of vigilantes attitudes among the whites. Photo Shows Some of the young coloured demonstrators seated in the road after being rounded up by the police near Cape Town.
