No voting right for women in the Swiss Canton Appenzell: The people's general assembly (only for men) named "Landsgemeinde" of the small Swiss canton Appenzell Ausserrhoden is seen during the voting by show of hands on the main place in Trogen (Eastern Switzerland) weekend last. The men defeated again in social democratic petition for adopting the voting right to women. The women have only the voting at federal government level.
