New Laboratory Opened: Mr. H.R. Mackeson, M.P. - the Overseas Secretary, yesterday performed the opening ceremony of the new Crookes Laboratories, at Park Royal. Mr. Mackeson had to don specially sterilised clothes - shoes - gloves and mask before entering one of the new pressurised aseptic ampoule filling rooms, where the air is filtered - to watch girls at work. The young ladies employed in this room have to be "A.L." in health before they are allowed to work there. Photo Shows The Forbidden Room - Girls seen filling bottles with A.C.T.H. which acts on major glands, in one of the new pressurized aseptic empoule filling rooms at the laboratory.
