Aachen Scholars Produce Synthetic Insulin: Until now, Insulin, which is required by diabetes suffers, could only be obtained from the pancreas of animals, but now, after eight wears of research, scientists of the Technical High School at Aachen in Germany have achieved a breakthrough bu developing a synthetic type of Insulin, thus putting them ahead of scientists of other nations including American who have been working on similar projects.Photo Shows the leader of the team Dr. Helmut Zahn (center) with two of his collaborators, Dr. Johannes Meinhofer (left) and Sr. Eugen Schnabel in the laboratory of the wool research institute in Aachen.
