Hotel Ship as home for polish-Jewish Refugees, in Denmark: The hotel ship "St. Lawrence", which started in the twenties as a Canadian Steamboat, is in Copenhagen Harbour, serving as a home for a Polish-Jewish refugees, seeking asylum in Denmark. The St. Lawrence can house 500 people daily - but several more live there until the Danish State and government can solve the many problems. When the refugees arrive in Denmark they are normally put on the hotelship ship until Danish refugee help organisations can place then in accommodation in town.
