Demonstrations In Down St. After Laying Of Wreath By The Anglo-Rhodesian Society On The Cenotaph: A service in memory of the Rhodesians who fell in to World Wars, was held this afternoon at the Cenotaph in Whitehall. The service was arranged by the Anglo-Rhodesian Society, whose president is the Marquses of Salisbury. As the Government has stopped the Band of the Scots Guards, from playing at the service the band of the Salvation Army. (Chalk Farm branch) played at the service, conducted by Mr. W. Cooper. After the service some of the people who attended the service went to Down St. to demonstrate outside the Prime Minister home over his government police over Rhodesia. Photo shows Some of the Demonstrators being keeped by the police in Downing St. this afternoon.
