1982 Press Photo Japanese Self Defense Forces Airborne Brigade

Description
The Japanese Self Defense Forces Has One Airbourn Brigade, The first airbourn brigade, stationed at camp Narashino near Narita Airport North to Tokyo. This is were the Brigade has the airbourn training school. Most of the cadets are just out of her school and the course is given through out the war. The course takes five weeks and in the fifth week the cadets compete five parachute jumps t earn their wings. The Japanese airbourn infantry jumps from a Japanese Jet plane called A C--1 Chugata Yusoki (Medium range transport). Photo Shows A Class of New Recruits having their first lesson in physical education.
