Honduras has the biggest and best Air Force of Central America. Picture is showing US-troop transport helicopters at the air base of El Aguacate. Since 1982 US-pioneer troops are building in the whole country of Honduras landing pistes. The piste at El Aguacate, built 2 months ago, in a length of 2 kilometers, can also be used for extenbded area transport planes of the type C-5A. El Aguacate is only 100 kilometres away from the frontier of Nicaragua.
