UN Security Council on Rhodesia: The UN Security Council approved a resoluti jointly proposed by the UK and US to reques the Secretary General to send a UN Observer as a representative to Rhodesia to enter in discussion with the British Resident Commissioner designate and all parties concerning military and associated arrangements for majority rule.
