Olympic Gold Medal Winner Ulrkie Meyforth has a visit from world record holder Blajoeva: Ulrike Meyforth has recently had her leg in plaster. The surprise high jump gold medal winner had hurt her right leg in training (not a break). The 16 year old gold medalist was extremely pleased at this unexpected visit from Yordanka Blajoeva (right - signing Ulrikes plaster) at her home in Wesseling near Cologne. The Bulgarian who in the meantime has pushed the world record up to 1, 94m, was beaten by the ten unknown Ulrike Meyferth - Blajoeva won the silver medal.
