1953 Press Photo Man arrested for threatening Mayor of Berlin

Incident in Schoeneberg Town-Hall - Madman Arrested - While the Council of Berlin Senate Met in Schoeneberg Twon-Hall at 2200 Hours for a Special meeting at the Occasion of the death of Governing Mayor Ernest Reuter a man entered the hall of the town-hall and began to interrupt the silence with soolding. "I want to kill the mayor!" he shouted and was raving about. Berlin SPD-Chariman Neumann Just being on the way to the meeting walked up to the raving madman and tried to appease But he went on with crying and raving. Then policemen stepped in and had to hold the man by force.
