"Rome - open city": The famous film by Rosseliini "Rome - Open City" which is made by the scenario by Federico Fellini (Fellini) and by which Anna Magnani (Magnani) and Roberto Roseeliini became world-famous 15 years ago, will now also be shown in Germany. After the war, it was not shown here, because of its alleged anti-German tendencies. Photo shows a scene of the film; nearly mad with fear, the young widow Pina - Anna Magnani - wants to get away from the SS soldiers. But when she succeeds in doing so, she is shot down.
