The Security Council tonight Unanimous called upon the Governments Concerned in the Present hostilities in the Middle East, "as crase-first step, to take forthwith all manures for an immediate crease-fire and for a cesation of all military notivities in the arms". The Security--General was asked to keep the Council "propmptly and currently informed on the situation" The draft resolution adopted tonight was put forward at the start of the meeting by the President of the Council, Bebe R. Tabor, following Consultations held by Council members yesterday and today.
