Feeding Stockholm's Hungry Birds: When the winter freeze-up comes to Stockholm, Rudolf Engstrom, a retired Customs officer, is kept busy feeding the city's hungry birds. About a thousand swans, some of which are seen here, gather at one of the few open waters, and consume more than a ton of bread a day.
