Hold that tiger! if you're worried about burglars, how about this watchdog with a difference? In a small village in India this striped beauty has become so tame that she often wanders in an d out of houses and is regularly met by foresters. She's about 5 years old. 9 feet long and weighs about 200 kilos. So far she hasn't injured any villagers, although two foresters have received some small scratches. On second thoughts, a poodle remains a safer alternative. Photo shows the 5 year old tigress seen in the doorway of a village house.
