The World's Largest Glassfibre Yacht "Ocean Spirit" is launched at Hoo. the first of a new class of sailing yachts, the largest the world has seen in glassfibre, was launched at Hoo, near Rochester, Kent, today by Ross Drinkwater, of the TV Paul Temple series, assisted by 9 year old Donna Williams, daughter Lt. Leslie Williams. The yacht named "Ocean Spirit" is to be piloted by Robin Knox Johnston, the lone round the world yachtman, with Lieut. Leslie Williams, when they compete in next month's two handed Round Britain Sailing Race, in which they will be one of the Naval entries.
